Andy and I are both Australian, so having our special day with our closest friends and family in such beautiful surroundings as the Blue Mountains was an absolute dream. The Mountains had always held a special place in both our hearts, and Lilianfels Resort and Spa did not disappoint! It was a relaxed day filled with love and laughter, reflecting both of our personalities and pretty much giving all of our mates an excuse to have a big reunion. After having organised the whole event from overseas, it was definitely a relief when it all came together seamlessly!
I was after a classic, vintage feel for the day - keeping everything simple but beautiful. I wanted it to be about love, not extravagance. A lace ivory Augusta Jones wedding dress, plum bridesmaids dresses, antique roses, and an old vintage suitcase as a table plan were some highlights.
