Wedding Gift Registry – The worlds most unusual?
It’s common nowadays for couples who have it all to have a gift list in place. Guests can choose what to buy the bride and groom without stressing they won’t like it.
However one couple are choosing to ask their guests for an altogether different type of pressie. Drue Kataoka and Svetlozar Kazanjiev are asking their wedding guests to instead donate money through PayPal to get their start-up company Aboomba off the ground.
We got a sneak peak at the gift list:
Feed an engineer for a day
Price: $273.97
Make it all legal, a.k.a. feed a lawyer for an hour
Price: $385.00
Red Bull on tap for a week (keg-style)
Price: $52.41
Upgrade from First-Aid Kit to real health insurance for a week
Price: $134.00
Rent a friend’s garage for a month a.k.a. make the startup official
Price: $250.00
Earth, Wind, Fire, Water: utility bills for a month
Price: $53.00
While is it a very (very) unique gift list which the couple themselves describe as tongue-in-cheek, we think it’s just plain cheeky! The couple plan to invite 180 guests, why not go small with the wedding and use their own money to fund the business?
