Was at a wedding June ’10 and The Shakes were playing definately the best wedding band around. Two days after the wedding i booked them for my own wedding in September ’11. So any brides out there i can gaurantee you and your guests will be on the dance floor all night….. Check them out you will not be disappointed!!!

CupCake Queenie donated some cakes for us (Pomegranate) for a raffle for a coffee morning and also gave us a Christmas Cake for our Christmas Hamper Raffle. I can unreservedly say these are masterpieces inside and out. You wont find a better cake – anywhere!
RosieDays donated a voucher for our Christmas Hamper raffle. A beautiful delicate florist that couldn’t be outshone.
Cathy Mc Nulty did my hair and Ailbha Lynch did my make they are by far the best!! My hair stayed exactly the way I wanted it all day and my make up fawless all day!!! They listened to me never dictated and done whatever I wanted!! I felt completely comfortable in putting my trust in them both!!! Really hope they both win!! They show such passion and respect for their jobs… Vote for them… They are the best!!!!

Cakes and co have the most innovative, beautiful wedding cakes you’ll ever see.
Lots of really interesting results on this pole. Definitely agree with Killashee House as being one of the best places. Would have been cool to do a Best Hen / Stag destination. Maybe one for next year.
Vertigo are the best wedding band I have come across, I got married almost 5 years ago and I swear my feet still hurt from all the dancing I did, they were fab and had the whole crowd on the floor for the night. Beat of luck Lads !!!
Annie Byrne of Aislinn Events is a superb wedding planner and went one step further by organising the Business of Weddings in Killarney in 2010.
Clontarf Castle was the best wedding venue experience we could have chosen. The staff could not do enough to help in the run up to the special day and were amazing on the day. The room on the day was turned into a magical Wedding Wonderland and everybody had a great day at the hotel. Best of Luck.

On my visit to County Meath I was fortunate enough to visit the Knightsbrook Hotel and be totally pampered in the spa by the lovely staff.

Keith Malone did our wedding video, and he was just amazing! Anyone thinking of getting a videographer should book Keith. He is so discreet and professional, your guests won’t even notice him and he manages to capture every detail of the wedding and not bother anyone. Our wedding dvd is the most watched dvd in our household now, and after the millionth time watching it, still brings a tear to my eye! Words can’t describe how happy I was with Keith Malone wedding videos.
My vote is for KnightsBrook Hotel.
Our Wedding Reception was held there in May last year and it was absolutely fantastic.
Fab Venue,Fab Staff,Fab Food,Fab Atmosphere.

Ailbhe Lynch did my make up, as well as the immediate wedding party. Her work is flawless, so professional!She listnened and followed all our wishes. She was an integral part of our exciting morning as preparations got under way. Looking back on the photos now, two years on I am delighted we got to know Ailbhe. Carlton Redcastle Hotel, Donegal is the only venue for a wedding in the North West of Ireland, stunning scenery, perfect for the photographs, 5 star food & service. Any bride will certainly be a queen for the day at the Redcastle.

Knightsbrook Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort – what an amazing venue. We had our Wedding there Sept 2010 and we could not fault one single thing. The majority of our guests stayed for either 2 or 3 nights and everyone was in awe of the hotel. Friendly, courteous staff, sublime food matched with exemplary service, luxurious rooms, quality golf course…the list goes on. A special word of mention must go to Sinead Coll (Wedding & Events Mgr) who was absolutely brilliant in everything she did for us. Also to Caroline and Patrick for making our day so special and memorable.

The Strand Hotel is situated overlooking the Shannon river and as such is a beautiful venue for any special event. I recently attended a wedding there, and the champagne reception was very professionally executed: attentive and pleasant staff with a variety of elegant canapés and champagne were constantly circulating, but never invasive.
The serving of the main meal was perfectly timed, and again, the professional and pleasant manners of all staff were in evidence. The food was beautifully presented and perfectly cooked – standing out in the memory from other wedding menus.
The atmosphere throughout the celebrations was relaxed and the sleek interior design scheme provided a very pleasant environment.
All in all, a great wedding experience.
